Golf Pain Assessment Starts With Measurement
Golf pain is information
Pain may be the reason you seek help, but its location does not always reveal why it is happening. That is why we begin with measurement rather than assumptions.
- A painful back may be compensating for limited hip movement.
- A sore knee may be absorbing force your body is not distributing effectively.
- A shoulder may be taking on demands that exceed its current capacity.

Explore the common pain areas we assess and understand how movement, force production and physical capacity may be influencing your golf.
When to start
You do not need to wait until pain stops you playing. An assessment may be appropriate when:
- The same problem keeps returning even if you have changed your swing to compensate
- Pain affects practice or recovery and you are playing fewer holes
- Short-term relief has not held, you are losing confidence in your body
